How to uninstall any program by Innovative Solutions

All programs from Innovative Solutions provide a standard Windows uninstall routine, and they can easily be uninstalled by following the standard Windows procedure for uninstalling programs:

The method described bellow is the standard procedure for uninstalling programs in Windows, which normally works for all Innovative Solutions products. Please try the method bellow first. If the method bellow, for some reason, doesn't work for the program you wish to uninstall, then please see this page: How to uninstall if the standard method doesn't work.

Step 1 - Close the program

If the program you wish to uninstall is running, please close it.

If the program you wish to uninstall is running, it is very important to close the program before trying to uninstall it.

If the program runs as an icon in your system tray (in the lower-right corner of the screen), please right click on the icon and, from the menu that appears, please choose "Exit" or "Close".

If the program shows it's window on the screen, you can usually do this by clicking the "X" icon in the upper-right corner of the program's window.

If you can't close the program, then follow to the next steps anyway.

Step 2 - Enter the Windows Control Panel

Using your mouse, please go to

Start Menu - Control Panel

If "Control Panel" is not available in the Start Menu, please go to

Start Menu - Settings - Control Panel

Step 3 - Enter the Add or Remove Programs applet of Control Panel

If you are running Windows Vista:

In the Control Panel, please double-click the "Uninstall a program" link (which is available under the "Programs" icon).

If you can't see "Uninstall a program" in your Control Panel, then please double-click the "Programs and features" icon.

If you are running Windows XP:

In the Control Panel, please double-click the icon called "Add or Remove Programs"

Step 4 - Uninstall the program!

A window containing a list of programs will appear. Scroll through the list and select the program you wish to uninstall.

If you are running Windows Vista:

Press the Uninstall or the Uninstall/Change button.

After this you may get an elevation prompt (the screen will become a bit darker and Windows will ask you whether you wish to perform this operation as an administrator). Please confirm the operation.

If you are running Windows XP:

Press the Change/Remove button.

Step 5 - Follow up with the uninstall

From this point on, please follow the on-screen instructions (the computer will ask you if you wish to uninstall the program and a wizard will appear which will guide you through the uninstall procedure.

Please follow every step of the wizard and choose the appropriate options.

After the wizard is finished, the program will be uninstalled.

If, for some reasons, the method above doesn't work, then please follow the instructions in this page: How to uninstall if the standard method doesn't work.
