TrueImagemonitor.exe gives you a visual confirmation in the taskbar that Acronis Scheduler Helper (schedhlp.exe) is performing scheduled tasks.

TrueImagemonitor.exe is not necessary to run for scheduled tasks to be performed. It uses between 4 to 20 MB of memory.

ATTENTION: if you have planned scheduled tasks for Acronis True Image, the process Acronis Scheduled Helper (schedhlp.exe) must be set to Automatic in Windows Services.
