This program (NWIZ.EXE) is a part of the NVidia graphics driver. It enables support for Nview - that is, configuring up to 32 monitors on the same computer, expanding the desktop across many monitors.
If you only use one monitor, you can disable this process without any problem.

I Googled nwiz/install and got a fairly decent explanation at http://www.windowsstartup.com/wso/detail.php?id=3888 I really do not mind this command being in my Startup List, as my PC has a nVidia Motherboard Chipset, nVidia Network Controller Ethernet Card, and a nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX Graphics Card.
The following nVidia applications are running as "Processes" under the Windows Task Manager: (1) nSvcAppFlt.exe; (2) nSvcIp.exe; (3) nSvcLog.exe; (4) nvsvc32.exe.
I look at it this way: nVidia's software placed this command in the Startup List for a reason, it isn't causing any system problems, and since out of 2 GB RAM I see roughly 1,650 MB free, then my system is fine RAM-wise.

nwiz.exe is a part of NVidia's Nview features installable alongside it's graphics hardware products. This application will give the user access to additional features which allow the configuration of up to 32 monitors on a host, or to expand the desktop across many monitors. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference. nwiz.exe is not a critical component, but see the information above before disabling it.

Setup for nvidia video chipset. nwiz.exe /install runs when you do the nview initial setup. If you have then it just exits. I believe that it stays in startup permanently in case any new users log onto the machine.
