The installing window

This dialog appears on the screen when you are monitoring an installation:

If you want to get a good and accurate install log, please follow these rules:

Stop all applications before monitoring an install
If the setup program wants to restart the computer during the installation, let it restart the computer without stopping monitoring
After you have installed a program, it is best to run the program once, close the program, and then stop the monitoring by pressing the Finish monitoring, save installation log button. The installation log will be more complete because it will also contain the information that the program saved to the registry when it first started.

After you have finished installing a program, please press the Finish monitoring, save installation log button to save the installation log.

If you have started monitoring by mistake and you don't want to monitor an installation, just press the Cancel button. Monitoring will stop and the installation log won't be saved.
